Where to start

Where to start

Merseyside comprises of five metropolitan boroughs: Knowsley, St. Helens, Sefton, Wirral, and the city of Liverpool. As populations continue to increase and we are living longer, it is important to know who and where to find support for the elderly. This is our โ€œwhere to startโ€ guide to elderly care services in Merseyside.

Council Adult Care services

You can request a free care needs assessment from your local council which will help you identify the support your parent needs based on their individual circumstances.
