Walking Cricket

To increase participation and make cricket more accessible to people across the county, Norfolk Cricket Board have started delivering free walking cricket sessions in Norwich. There are no upper or lower age limits, although they are intended as adult sessions and fully inclusive to anyone of all abilities.

The aim of the sessions is to get people back into playing cricket, or for people who want to try it for the first time.ย  They games are fun, not too serious and an ideal opportunity for people to meet old friends or make new ones.ย  After, a coffee and a chat will be encouraged.

Sessions will operate on varying timescales, originally running for a six week block, so it’s worth getting in touch to see when the club is operating.

Walking Tennis

Walking Tennis is for anyone that wants to play tennis, but at their own pace. No running or jumping and you can let the ball bounce twice. Less speed but just as much fun! Ideal for anybody looking to build their confidence, returning from an injury, or just needing a little bit more time getting to the ball.
