The Essex Law Clinic is a collaboration between Essex University and local lawyers, who offer free initial advice to people about their legal problems. The thinking behind it is that they can provide their students with the chance to learn alongside practising lawyers, while giving back to people in the Essex community who need their support.

Their specialisations include family law, tenant disputes and benefits advice, all of which may be of particular relevance to the legal concerns surrounding elderly care faced by you or your relative.
