Home Local Age Space Hampshire & IOW Legal Advice
Elderly care can often become intertwined with legal matters. As a carer, it is a lot to take on, and making decisions around the law without advice is tricky! From Advance Directives to Will Writing services to Power of Attorney, there is help on hand across Hampshire, to guide you through legal processes.
Legal advice need not cost you a fortune – in fact often it is free. Age Space have put together the county’s free legal advice clinics. This includes Citizen’s Advice Bureau locations and contact details, and solicitors that give back to the community by offering free initial consultations.
Part of the wider National Law Centre Network, the Isle of Wight Clinic provides free legal advice and representation for the island’s community. This means everyone can access legal guidance, no matter their financial circumstances. The clinic is open Monday to Friday for in-person visits and telephone advice.
Making a will is a really important process as it dictates what happens to money, property and possessions, after death. Without a will, it can be very difficult and time consuming to sort out a loved ones estate and will not necessarily be in line with their wishes. It is best to make a will with the guidance of a local solicitor.
Age Space have compiled solicitors in Hampshire that offer Will Writing services along with background information and starting prices. There is sure to be a local solicitor to suit your needs.
