Participation in activities is encouraged but not mandatory; the care actively encourage building relationships and conversations. The centre is fully dementia-friendly through the built environment along with a dedicated care team who have considerable experience in supporting those diagnosed. All members have individual care plans so diets and behaviours are measured in a non-intrusive way. This means carers at the centre can clearly communicate any deterioration that families may need to be aware of.
COATS Centre for Crowthorne's Seniors
The COATS centre is a pillar of the elderly community in Crowthorne. A two or three course freshly cooked lunch is available each day for a reasonable cost of £6.

The three hour clubs are bookended by transport on ReadiBus which they will help to arrange for you. Phoenix Resource Centre, Newbury
The Phoenix Resource Centre operates to help adults with learning difficulties, physical disabilities and those with frailty and dementia. The centre is spacious and well-equipped with excellent facilities for activities and highly trained, experienced and caring staff.
There are several opportunities and services run at the centre, including reflexology, aromatherapy, a craft circle and a film, photography and drama group. Ascot Day Centre
An independent charity-run organisation, the Ascot District Day Centre has operated for more than 40 years. Services provided at the day centre include hairdressing, chiropody, activities and day trips. Regular events are organised by staff including concerts and a Christmas party.

The purpose built day centre is a short five minute walk away from the centre of Twyford. The building is designed to be welcoming; the main room is large and comfortable with a hearing loop installed.
