Day Care Centres for the elderly are a great chance for your relative to get out and socialise, while you can take a much-needed break from your caring role. There are day care centres throughout Essex, most of which offer full days of activities and a hot cooked lunch for your relative to enjoy.
Some of the day centres also provide helpful services such as hairdressing, nail-trimming, and reflexology. If your relative needs help getting to and from the day care centre, then you should ask the centre if they provide transport – many do. Otherwise you can look at Community Transport Services in Essex, which may be able to help your relative.
