Age UK Hythe, Lyminge & Ashford
Age UK Hythe, Lyminge & Ashford offer older people companionship, fun and the opportunity to take part in activities. Each of the three centres have cafés serving refreshments, snacks and homemade cakes, so you can pop-in for a bite to eat, attend an activity, or stay all day and enjoy a full two-course lunch.
They are able to provide door-to-door transport if you do decide to stay all day, or you can just attend an activity of your choice! There will be a small charge for most activities. Age UK Canterbury’s day centre offers friendship and activities that encourage health and independence. Over recent years, they have developed and continue to evolve activities that involve people in physical and mental stimulation. This gives their visitors greater choice and encouragement to get involved, as well as reminaing active where possible.

Age UK Herne Bay run The Bradbury Centre, where elderly people who are usually housebound due to frailty can meet with others of a similar age for social interaction.
