Day care centres in Kent offer the chance for older people to get out and enjoy a change of scenery, whilst socialising with new and old friends. Often, day care centres will offer a range of stimulating activities for their guests to take part it and some of them also provide helpful services such as hairdressing, nail-trimming and assisted bathing.
They also give carers the chance for a day’s respite, safe in the knowledge that their loved one is being taken care of.
Age Space has compiled a guide to the many day care centres found across Kent, including the opportunities they have to offer and contact details.
