Specialised exercise classes designed by experts to improve flexibility, aerobic health, balance and strength in older age. Surrey Otago Strength and Balance Classes
Otago strength and balance classes aim to help people become stronger, more balanced and mobile through movements. The classes are particularly beneficial for those with osteoporosis. Surrey’s Otago classes are relaxed and social, and can help regain confidence and maintain independence.
Otago classes are 45 minutes to 1 hour long and cost between £3 – £7. There are 34 classes available across 22 Surrey locations: Addlestone, Camberley, Caterham, Chertsey, Claygate, Cobham, Cranleigh, Dorking, Epsom, Ewell, Farnham, Guildford, Haslemere, Horley, Leatherhead, Molesey, Redhill, Reigate, Walton, Warlingham, Weybridge and Woking.

Age UK Surrey GO50 Walking Group
GO50 Walking Group is an exercise group organised by Age UK Surrey. The group provides the oppurtunity to keep fit, meet new people and enjoy the Surrey countryside. GO50 organise a calendar of walks throughout the year.
Lengths of walks vary, approximately from 3.5 miles to 8.5 miles, and can be chosen according to fitness level.
It is free to join the walking group, however a donation of £2 is suggested. There is no need to book, you can simply turn up at a walk at the location and time noted on the calendar above.
The group also run ‘Health Walks’ designed for people who want to improve their health through walking. Walkers are encouraged to walk at a quicker pace and get their heartbeat going for fitness benefits.

Yoga Senior Classes in Surrey

Senior Leisure Centre Memberships in Surrey
Being a member of a local leisure centre means access to facilities to keep fit. Attending a centre regularly provides the opportunity to meet new people, take part in classes and have something to look forward to each week.
